Principal Message

Dear Members of our St Brigid’s Community,

On Sunday, we joined the global Church in celebrating World Mission Sunday — a special day dedicated to reflecting on and supporting the mission of spreading God’s love and hope throughout the world.

The theme for 2025, Missionaries of Hope Among All Peoples, reminds us that through faith, compassion and action, we are each called to share hope with others — both within our own community and beyond.

World Mission Sunday invites us to pause and reflect on our shared mission as followers of Jesus: to bring light, peace and love to those most in need.

As we reflect on this special day, we might ask ourselves:

How can I be a missionary of hope in my everyday life?

Who in my life or community might need a message of hope right now?

What small actions can I take to make a positive difference in the world?

May World Mission Sunday inspire us all to live with open hearts and to share God’s love and hope wherever we go.

Have a wonderful week,

Jayne Bosworth

'Inspire us to act justly and to reverence all God has made.'
